As the year comes to an end, we begin looking forward to next year. What do I want to do? What do I want to change in my life? Next year will be better.
Starting in January, I’ll eat better. I’ll work out more. I’ll be more positive. I’ll save more money. I’ll look for a better job. I’ll start that business. I’ll have a better attitude.
Why must we wait until January 1st to make changes?
Well, guess what?
So, let’s do this! Now! Not in a few weeks. NOW. The time is NOW. The choice is NOW. Change begins right NOW.
Don’t make a New Year’s Resolution. Most of them are given up on before Spring even starts. Make a life change. Choose each day to do something that gets you closer to your goals and dreams.
I don’t care if you have to start with the tiniest baby step. Just start.
Want to lose weight? Then workout today, even if it’s just five or ten minutes. Something is better than nothing, and you can increase the time and intensity as you progress. Just start.
Want to save more money? Find something to cut…Eating out…Grabbing that cup of coffee.
If you want things to change, you have to change things. Plenty of people WANT to change their life. However, when it comes down to it, we fall into one of two categories: Those who make excuses and those who make sacrifices. Which one are you?
Need help with goals? Grab a journal, and start writing out your goals. Handwriting something helps it stick with you. Want to add some extra kick? Speak them aloud. Write them down. Speak them. Then believe you can do it. Trust me. It will make a difference.
Keep going. There are going to be setbacks in life. Setbacks don’t mean failure. Get back up, and move on. Look forward. You can’t change what happened yesterday. So, focus on what you can do better today and plan for tomorrow.
Believe in yourself. Whether or not you can reach your goals, is up to you. There are so many dreams that are killed because of self-doubt.
So, believe in yourself!
And start changing your life today!
